What the hell is up with his voice? I could hardly make out what he was going on about half the time.

Surely he must have jumped in on that interview....you really wouldn't have picked a prick like that to start with.

To be fair I’ve come out of Maine Road sounding like that after a few games when I’d been singing throughout and screaming my head off

To be fair, it was probably more exciting on Maine Road during Pearce's tenure than it would've been where we were actually playing at Eastlands...Paulpowersleftfoot wrote:Probably not during Stuart Pearce’s reignManCityMan wrote:To be fair I’ve come out of Maine Road sounding like that after a few games when I’d been singing throughout and screaming my head off

probably during Liverpool and ManU games mostly to be honest, always gave it my lung bursting best iduring those games, hated them (and still do).

I know what you mean about those, especially the rags. I've often come home with no voice at all after playing them. Except that one time a few years ago, think it was the 10/11 season at ours, where it was built up to be this amazing spectacle. Both teams lined up a 4-5-1 formation, played tentatively and we ended up with a boring game and a goalless draw. If anything, it was even more boring than the following game against Birmingham.
