Gary Neville and Graeme Souness have HEATED debate about Man United

Post by Strange Blue on Mon Nov 12, 2018 4:23 pm

This follows on from the match, but I thought it was worth posting this separately for those who haven’t seen it. Neville does maybe have a point in that the Rags will still be a sack of s**t whoever takes over the manager’s position.

I watched it live after the game...

is a fair point that numerous managers have been in with this core group of players and not been able to do more with them, so to lay it all at maureen's feet is a bit harsh.

However, the "special one" should be doing better with what he has..
and if there are tainted elements within the group, he should be getting them out.

Who could be so bad that they bring the squad down that has been there over the past 3 managers?
Valencia, Young, Smalling, Jones, Fellaini, Herrera...?

Yes he could do better, but also even when he has success he plays a dour, boring brand of football & this is something Neville failed to address.

I watched this after the game, too.  I though Souness did a very passable impression of Jeremy Paxman, pushing old ratboy to say his team were not good enough.

As for Maureen, I don't think any of the players he's signed have covered themselves in any glory at all since he got them.

Well the moaning git has bought 11 players since his move to the toilet, spending over £370 million.
Bailly £30m who he now wants to move on
Mkhitaryan £27m now at Arse
Pogba £89m - Good player but inconsistent & has hinted at leaving the toilet.
Lindelof £37m Average player
Lukaku £75m Very Happy Was better at Everton
Ibrahimovic Free with huge wages. Good 1st season then injured and retired to the USA. Still better than Lukaku now at the age of 58.
Matic £40m Again average
Sanchez - Swap deal & huge wages. Maureen has turned him from a world beater to average. I'm sure if he'd have come to City Pep would be getting performances like Wenger got out of him.
Fred £52m Another one we were looking at but seems out of favour already after distinctly average performances.
Dalot £19m Not played due to injury
Grant £1.5m Not played - back up keeper.

In conclusion Fuck Off Maureen you've had the money & bought the players but thanks to your management, poor judgement and the lack of quality of your 11 players you're no better than Watford. Rolling Eyes

Please have some respect for Watford not to mention Bournemouth who are both higher up in the table  Very Happy

Lindelof, average?  Surely he's not that good?
