Daily Fail
Not too happy with the tone of this article, especially the 'X' Rated dig at NDJ's tackle on Ben Arfa. It was hard but it was fair - The ref saw it that way and so did the FA, what right has this malacious right-wing rag to describe it as anything different.

Re: Daily Fail
So the Daily Fail are now giving retrospective punishment?
If Ben Arfa's legs wasn't made of breadsticks, perhaps he could take a fair tackle.

Re: Daily Fail
Its like no player has ever been injured in atackle before, what a joke. From what i saw of Ben Arfa at Marseille he was no angel. to call Nige a violent player is a disgrace. No mention of Bartons tackle on Diaby in that article which was very similar.

Re: Daily Fail
I told him that it wasn't a serious issue - just football.
'The problem is that there was not even any blame. A player will get away with anything if there are no sanctions.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Is he not kinda contradicting himself here?
If it's not an issue, then stop whinging like my 9yr old daughter that he's not been punished. Just when you thought it was all forgotten eh.
ps. The other tackle shown by Karl Henry was 10 times worse than NDJs but because of the outcome (no broken leg) it's never been mentioned since.

Re: Daily Fail
The article says Ben Afra doesn't really understand English.
That means they've pretty much written the whole thing themselves.
"De Jong's x-rated tackle" - I sit next to the away fans and there were no complaints at the time of the tackle. He goes in hard, he goes in fair. Anyone who thinks he's just a violent dirty player hasn't watched City this season.
