Well - That's That Then

The season finally finishes with the rags getting humiliated at Wembley, a fortnight after we won our first trophy in 35 years and qualify for the CL for the first time.

Let's hope it's a long hot Summer.

Not TOO long though. We had a nice momentum built up at the end of the season so I just hope that with whatever new signings are made they are signed early in the window, get a full pre- season in so they gel quickly and we can start the new season with the same momentum we built up at the end of this one.

What can they say? They lost twice at Wembley this season to the two best teams in the world, they really couldn't have expected to do any better than they have done.

On a serious note, a lot of their players were shown up tonight to be what they really are; average footballers who will compensate by putting a shift in. I actually feel a bit sorry for a couple of my mates who went down, as soon as you see Carrick in the starting eleven your heart must sink. The sympathy only lasted a split second though before the gloating began.

Hope our boys were watching though, that style of Barca football should definitely be next on the list for things our club should 'steal'.

1st half against Fulham away was Barcelonaesque!

All the talk from the rags was how hernandez will be the bargain of the season and score the winner. Well how wrong can you be, he has a pathetic first touch and was offside more times than Adebayor, how he has sored 20 goals this year is beyond me, must all have been against wank teams like berbaflops.

Tony - so was the spell we had at Wembley against the rags just after we scored, hunting the ball down in packs and then running them ragged by spreading it all over the pitch with fluid passing. We are capable of it fo' sho'.

No shame whatsoever in getting beat off Barca. United record in Europe has been amazing the last few years, something I'am very proud of.

Hats off to Barca, true champions of Europe but lets not forget United who are so Shite they walked the prem & reached the Cl final, again!

I know city have done well lads but come on please, City are a million miles away from Barca in football ability.

Nah I'm not saying we are anywhere near Barca's level, what I mean is we have played some very nice football at times this season, usually for the first 20mins of matches, and that's what we need to be aiming to do consistantly for 90mins every match. Realistically I think we are at least 2, maybe 3 seasons away from our peak.
