Now Its Good For The Game

Just listening to Talkshite (i know i shouldn't) and they were discussing the transfers of Jones to United for 16m and Henderson to the dippers for 20m and their analysis was that these transfers are not overpriced seeing as they are buying on potential and for the future and that it is actually good for the English game as Utd and Liverpool are paying this money to other English clubs, thus keeping it in the English game.

This from the same station that, although we have bought several young players for over inflated prices from other English clubs, consistantly condemned us for the ruining of the transfer market and our actual policy of buying young English players.
