Transfers - Were Very Quiet

Despite the 473 rumours in every red top.

Are we keeping our powder dry, working hard behind the scenes, or do you think were either:

A - Waiting for July 1st to announce them, or

B- Waiting on bids for some of our deadwood to kickstart some swap deals? eg Adebayor for Modric, Nedum for Cahill?

Maybe it's just a case of there being no leaks this time from inside City?
Or maybe we've learned our lesson from being over familiar with the media?

The FFP rules mean we can't just buy anyone and worry about it later, we have to make every buy count, with a bit of luck we can also get rid of Jo and any other Turkey's in the transfer window.

I wouldn't call Ned dead wood, rather keep him than spend 20m on average defenders...plus Jo's going to turkey!

I don't imagine Cook and Marwood will be resting on their laurels, but at the same time I think it's been pretty obvious for most of the season which areas we need strengthening, so I thought Mancini would have decided who he wanted a while back, meaning we'd have our transfers wrapped up in the opening weeks of the window. That said, our last few weeks of the season were probably too frantic for him to be considering who he wanted to buy. Reckon it will probably all start when they all get back from holiday.

Hope we stopped being linked with Cahill and Rodwell soon though, don't want either.
