City post small loss
Loss of £22.9M which includes UEFA fine of £16.2M.

Next year, without a UEFA fine, we'll be clearly well in the black.

Re: City post small loss
Turnover up by £75.5M (+28%)
Matchday revenue up £7.9M (+20%)
Broadcasting (UEFA) up £7.2M (+30%)
Broadcasting (other) up £37.6M (+58.5%)
Other commercial up £22.8M (+16%)
Wage bill down £28.1M (-12%)
That trend should continue this season, especially if we beat Roma and get out of the group.

Re: City post small loss
If we'd had that turnover last year, we'd have been 3rd in the world for turnover behind the Spanish giants. Of course Manure will have a big rise in their last accounts for the BT tv deal so they should stay ahead of us. The next set of accounts will be very interesting as it should see them without the CL money (£36M from UEFA and matchday income too I think which would be more than £50M.) Their new kit deal doesn't kick in until next year so it will be very interesting indeed...

Is there any chance of the Rags going bust because of their losses Dawg?

Sadly Den, they are still making money hand over fist with all their endorsements. They are like a DeLorean car. Costs a fortune, is a pile of shit but people still wanted one for the gullwing doors!
