England 3rd Test
Good start to this morning apart from the rain - Aus 72-3. Warner, Clarke and Smith out.
2-25 for Finn.

I will be happier if we can negotiate their bowlers on a good bowlers wicket. That last wicket partnership was bloody annoying.

No review from buttler was daft. Don't players and coaching staff learn?

certainly better than when Buttler went really didn't expect much more well done moeen & stuart Broad. Lets hope our bowlers can really perform like the first innings now. Just be patient no free boundaries.

Got to get them early tomorrow. Even a lead of 100 could prove difficult.

I really can see Australia winning especially the way they have started this morning.

the wicket will get easier to bat on provided the sun stays out, which should help us if we have to chase a small total.

But pressure will count if the Aussies take an early wicket. With Lyth, that's always a strong possibility.

Re: England 3rd Test
I was being serious Bluey but they came out and bowled like arseholes for the first few over and England were away. Poor fielding and missed catches didn't help. Stokes was on a pair, Bairstow is just back in the team, Moeen got very lucky many times in his innings, Bell was under pressure. If the Aussies had got 2 or 3 early wickets, then the pressure could have told.

Pressure will count in the media's head dawg. That's all I heard from the aussie commentators. The pitch was getting easier, The aussie bowlers were wayward & England had 3 days to bat? not a lot of pressure. Oh & lyth is just a calamity so England would Know they are effectively 0 for 1 when he walks out. So anything from him is a bonus. How does he get in the team? Is it because he plays for Yorkshire as they only seem to have eyes for that county when it comes to selection.

Any ideas on who is likely to replace Anderson, Do you think it will just be Wood coming back into the team or anyone else? Are their any other openers in form?

Wood was in the dressing room at Edgbaston, so can only see him being the replacement, especially as he can swing the ball and at Trent Bridge, I'm sure the groundsman will be told to prepare a pitch similar to the last one. Lord's showed that a pitch with nothing in it, only encourages their batsmen and doesn't help our swing attack.
Wood for Anderson - no brainer for me.
