Joe Hart's price

Post by Topdawg on Thu Feb 09, 2017 9:51 am

He'll be 30 in April and probably has another 5 years at the top of his game, if not more.

I read that Arsenal are in for him. So are Liverpool. Chelsea are interested, even West Ham seem to have eyed him up.

But the prices quoted for him are only up to £15M. Last summer, there was talk that he could be let go for only £10M as a thank you form the club.

Now, you all know my feelings on whether he should have been shoved out of the door or not (NFW). But with some of the PL leading teams seemingly after him, and West Ham, it looks like he'll be hot property this transfer window.

He's English which helps with HG players. He's still England's number 1 by some distance for me. Surely, if he was to be sold, he should be worth a heck of a lot more than a paltry £15M.

I really wouldn't like to see him at another PL club but, if he does come back to England, the asking price should start at £30M and I still think he'd be a bargain.

If he goes for anything less than we paid for Clownio, I'll be very annoyed.  He should be at least twice that much to a foreign club, so to a club in the PL I'd say we should make it at least £35 million and then include bonus clauses like £1m for every time he makes a save against us Wink
