Jesus injury
Our next league game is 5th March, so hopefully he'll be back fit for that.
Fingers crossed as we need everyone at this stage of the season.
I'd be surprised if he's back for Monaco.

Re: Jesus injury
Rumours are it's a cut. If it's a cut, it could be a few days. If it's bone bruising a week, if it's tendon or ligament, 2-3 weeks.

Re: Jesus injury
I'd be surprised if it was only a cut as I would have expected him to try and carry on. Let's hope I'm wrong!

Re: Jesus injury
he did manage to carry on a little longer to try & run it off. He appeared to walk off easily enough & wasn't needing treatment during the game so I would say maybe a deep cut & some bruising but I would be surprised if it was more serious.

When I saw it at the time I thought broken toe. You can walk, don't really need treatment but can't play footy.

Statement on the City web site
The 19-year-old was withdrawn from action after 15 minutes of the game and assessed by the Club’s medical staff.
He will undergo further examinations in the coming days to establish the extent of his layoff.

Re: Jesus injury
He won't be ready to train for at least 4-6 weeks. Then he'll need 2-4 weeks to get fit. Being a kid might help a bit but he'll still be rusty after 8-10 weeks. If he/we are lucky, he'll be back at the end of April in contention for the last few PL games, the CL games and the FA cup final.
