Text from Pep's prezza

Pep on Abu Dhabi: “We were together in a different place. We found the sun. We had dinner together and, okay, not think too much about football. It was a short trip but it was nice. We just trained and cleared our minds. We got some sun, stretched our legs and that was basically it.”

Pep: “I speak regularly with Khaldoon. The last time, he came over here. But we met Sheikh Mansour for the first time and was impressed how he knew everything about us and it was nice to spend some time with him. He is so happy. He sees all the games and he sees the effort. He knows we fight until the end, and it was nice because it’s important for us to know the president. That’s why it was good.”

Pep on Ranieri: “Yeah, I was surprised. Yesterday the game against Liverpool we saw his legacy. They played outstanding and that is the legacy from Claudio Ranieri. So in 50 years, people will talk about what Leicester achieved. That is his legacy. They played like Ranieri’s team of last season. He will find a new job again.”

Pep on emerging talent: “Of course, we are involved in the Academy here. I said there are four or five guys who can progress this summer - it depends on their quality. All we can do is help them. Now they are being helped by the coaches in the Academy.”

Pep on Kompany: “He is not ready for tomorrow. He is much better but not quite right. Soon he will return- he is in the last part of his recovery. Can he play the remainder of season? Yes, definitely.”

Pep on team selection: “I have to think about it. Not just the keepers. We were one week out. Tomorrow is a final against a team that impressed a lot when we played away. It’s one game and I know how many surprises there are in the cup. I will think today after the training session and in the morning.”

Pep on Claudio and Willy: “They are so professional. There is no problem about that. I am not thinking who is the first one and who is the second one. I decide

So, Kompany isn't fit for tomorrow. Just cannot see him being part of the set up next season.

Pep reckons 4 or 5 kids can progress this summer. I wonder who they are...

BTW, Mancini gave 16 kids their debut. MP gave 12 kids their debut and Pep has given 2 so far.

All 16 kids that Bobby gave debuts to are no longer with the club.

9 of MP's kids are still with the club and some have featured under Pep.

Still think Pep has the strongest bunch still to come.

I think so too Bluey. Even though he's only given two debuts, he's played some of the kids that MP gave debuts to.
