Arsenal player exodus?

Post by Topdawg on Wed Mar 08, 2017 9:01 am

They just haven't got the stomach for the fight and Wenger isn't taking them forwards.

Bellerin hasn't been great of late, but maybe Pep can turn him around. Sanchez, we've already spoken about.

Anyone else take your fancy?

Bellerin was Arsenal's best player last night.

None of the Arsenal players would get in Citys team...apart from Bellerin.

It was a no win situation last night. If they sat and tried to defend, they'd be berated for not having a go at winning the game. They try to win the game, they would always be left exposed.

I thought they were right in the game up until the sending off. What the fook was that all about? He gave a yellow, rightly so and the penalty. Then those statues, who normally don't do anything, over-ruled the ref and told him it was a red? Bizarre.

from that squad -

Sanchez - Too much maintenance and getting older
Bellerin - Yes would have him
Walnutt - Yes, but maybe a tad old
Wilshire - Not sure he would improve where we need?
The Ox - Would improve our squad and homegrown, not 1st team
Monreal - Looks too much like Peter Crouch, is offputting not good enough
Koscielny - Makes too many errors, we need better

Nobody else stands out in the squad that we would be interested in..

I THOUGHT ARSENAL WERE WELL IN THE GAME. Walcott showed his fantastic play and then his bad decision making by not squaring when he was at a tight angle. The statue should have given Arsenal a penalty and then we'd have had a right good nervy game.

At 2-1 they should have shut up shop and accepted the loss rather than give the ball away for Bayern to humiliate them again.

I would imagine Arse will get a new manager and then maybe most of their players will stay. Hope he stays at least til the end of the season. We dont want a Leicesteresque type revival do we

Haven't Arsenal got an aggregate of 15-3 in their last 3 games?
