Ederson to City? News and other transfer rumours...

Post by blueboy on Sun Mar 19, 2017 8:07 am

Luís Filipe Vieira attended last Wednesday's meeting between Monaco and Manchester City, where the formation led by Leonardo Jardim ensured qualification for the quarter-finals of the Champions League, winning 3-1. The Reds' president had already witnessed the challenge of the first leg at the City of Manchester Stadium, played on 21 February and the Pep Guardiola team won the match (5-3).
The presence of Vieira, 67, in Louis II is explained by the good relations that Benfica has with Monaco, but also with Manchester City. In recent years, the Principality's club has hired some of the pearls formed in Seixal, notably Bernardo Silva and Ivan Cavaleiro, for whom it paid a total of 30.75 million euros.
In addition, Monaco has a player who is targeting the eagles: Gil Dias, a 20-year-old Portuguese winger who is assigned to Rio Ave. Vieira will have used to develop contacts and move this dossier.
Manchester City, on the other hand, has negotiated with those incarnated by Ederson, for whom he has already reached a gentlemen's agreement with a view to hiring the goalkeeper.

We'all pay £40M+ and he'll struggle to adapt. I'd rather we go for the 18yo kid from Milan, get rid of bravo and give wily one more year.
