well he is sort of right!!!! He actually gets to play at Liverpool. At City there were players just as good if not better so his game time was more limited.

He played 147 games for City in 5 seasons. That's close to 30 games per season. Think he played quite a bit for us and won 2 PL titles, FA and League Cups and Charity Shield.

What's he won at LFC?

those games include subs appearances also i think he is saying these things to either gee up his mates at Liverpool or convince himself he was something more than just a squad player. FA cup 2011 did not get on
Wasn't included in the run in to the 2012 championship. I think hehe started the capital 1 cup final v Sunderland but think he may have been on the bench v Liverpool.

I don't have a problem with Jimmy, he gave his all in the shirt, he got a better offer with more game time and moved on.  He's a footballer at the end of the day and by definition they aren't the sharpest tools in the box.   Don't forget there is the MUEN slant on everything in that shit paper.

We are not Arsenal or Spuds, who boo their ex players with comical vitriol.

At the end of the day he now plays for a team we simply struggle to beat, if I was a dipper fan I would want to play us every week too.

His two issues with city were his game time and his position out wide. He wanted central midfield. Those were his reasons for leaving. He got a hefty signing in fee and a hefty pay rise to go to Liverpool to play left back.....

I simply pointed out that what he said was that this current LFC team are the best he's ever played with......which is a very bizarre statement when he played in a team that won 2 PL titles, the FA Cup and League Cup.....since he's been at LFC, they've won fuck all and haven't qualified for the CL....so how this team is better I've no idea.

Ironically, he made 4 fewer appearances last season for LFC than he did in his previous 2 seasons at City.
