Souness says City would have been closer to Chelsea if....

We'd have been much closer if refs had given blatant penalties for starters. And no, they don't even themselves out over the season.

Think he's wrong....we didn't lose games due to mistakes by Bravo and there's no way of knowing if Hart would have saved some or many of the goals he conceded....damn, wish that video I edited would have uploaded.....

However, I agree with the pens, but we'd have at least 9 more points if our MF's and strikers didn't miss so many chances and pens.

All I think back to is KdB's miss against Chelsea and the re missing the penalty against Spurs. Just those two moments alone and we are only 4 points behind Chelsea.

Exactly...who misses 2 pens in one game??

Far too many examples this season of missed chances. We're not talking about 1 chance in a game where we've drawn or lost. but 4 or 5 chances.

That area MUST improve next season.

As much as we love Sergio and he does score goals he has gone from a 1 in 2 chance conversion to 1 in 4 easily.  You watch Chelsea and they dispatch chance after chance, once we start doing that again we will be back up there.
