Patrick Roberts and Celtic

Post by Topdawg on Tue Apr 04, 2017 12:28 pm

Brenda has been talking about trying to keep Roberts for next season. On loan if City to loan him out again or even a permanent deal.

The thing is, how on earth can they afford him? I can't see City really letting a 20yo kid with bags of talent go for less than the £12M we are reported to have paid Fulham for him 2 years back.

And, with the way prices for kids have skyrocketed over recent years, surely he'd be worth a lot more than £20M, maybe even as high as £30M.

I'd like to see him come back to City to see what he can do.
