https://www.mancity.com/news/academy/2017/04/18/man-city-chelsea-fa-youth-cup-final-talking-points/1492430574614

Should be a cracker...two teams that love to score goals.....the two best teams in the youth league by a distance......Real v Bayern? Leicester v A Madrid? Nah......City's future v Chelsea.

WTF?????

Excuse yourself for the bathroom.....then tell her security stopped you outside due to a hoax bomb call.......and come back later to pick her up.

It's what I'd do....jump in a taxi, see the game and then return.   Razz Razz Razz (only if I wanted a divorce!!!)

Unless you like Led Zeppelin...then stay and enjoy!

Or, watch the game on FB!!

Even though Nmetcha scores a lot of goals, he has to improve stacks to make it

Been a good game....great to see some very exciting players on both teams.

However, Chelsea still look physically bigger, faster and stronger than us. Agree with Dawg, they look dangerous every time they break...we left massive gaps in between the MF and defence as the half as progressed....

Sadly, we've had 3 good chances that we haven't taken.

Sancho and Nmecha should have scored.....

Diaz is a passenger....but when he gets the ball he makes things happen....but that;s when he gets the ball. If he doesn't have, he's not one for helping back in MF.

Can see him being replaced to bring more solidity in MF and pushing Foden into his place if we don't score early.

Great game...but it's the same old same old question....how can they show this level of ability, and then how many of these will we see in the PL??

Have to say.....some outstanding players on show from both teams tonight. If that's the future.....England could, if managed well...have some serious players for the future.

Brilliant to see Pep's blueprint, playing out from the back, working so well. We hit Chelsea on lot's of breaks, sad thing was, our so-called 'big' players were a bit of a disappointment tonight.

Nmecha was poor.

Diaz was virtually non-existent except for 2 good through balls in the 1st half.

Sancho has great feet...but tonight, he didn't bother a jot to help track back and when he got the ball, he did a Navas and turned back inside....very disappointed with him.

Some great performances from the likes of Foden, Davenport, Muric, Smith and Francis.

They've got some great young kids as well.....so it's all set up for next Weds, but you've got to look to the likes of Sancho, Nmecha and Diaz to be doing far more, if we are to beat a very good Chelsea team.

Have you been eating dawg pills tonight bluey?

decent summation. foden and davenport were excellent. Muric did well. Nmetcha, Diaz and Sancho were all guilty of not doing enough and being too greedy. On this showing, it's hard to believe Sancho has been training with the 1st team. He was that poor for me. Diaz has some nice touches but he's finding it much harder against better players that don't sell themselves too easily. But he does some nice dribbles and has some good passes. Whether he'll do it often enough is the worry.

But they are all kids, so they have time. The minimum some have to do is put a whole lot more effort in.
