Yes we do get shafted.  The ball never went fully over the line and Aguero's goal should have stood.  Silva nobbled by goofy - come on City!!

No pen AGAIN....another goal disallowed when it wasn't...

The refs and their gimp assistants are fucking disgraceful!

Wish one of our players would be able to cross a ball from the right!

Wish we could just get a decision - we should be 2-0 up now - 70% possession but thwarted by incompetent officials.

We just need to lose to the Rags on Thursday to put the icing on the cake.  This has been our worst season since the Sheikh took over.  Even Mark Hughes was better than this.

We've an over hyped bang average manager, who removed one of the worlds top goal keepers and replaced him with a clown.

We've an aging squad who time and time again flatter to deceive.

This 2nd coming over the summer just won't happen, you cannot replace that many players and have it work.

I really do not know where we go from here?

Talk about dramatic....

Worst season???  Razz Razz Razz

You've pointed to the fact we have an ageing squad....Pep can't replace 11 players in one summer FFS.

As for the 2nd coming....I think you're way off the mark here....it will. It's that simple. They'll be at least £200m+ available for Pep to make the squad younger and hungrier than some we currently have.

As for where we go from here, we get top 4. We were seriously unlucky today with the penalty and the goal that should have stood....that's not Pep's fault, it's the ref and his assistants fault.

We hit the bar and post.....they scored two goals, that was it. Story of our season - not being able to take our chances for numerous reasons....again, not Pep's fault.

We'll push on....I know it's hard after not going through, but we'll see the fruits in the coming seasons, we're a team in transition that needs a massive overhaul. That overhaul has started, but will be finished in the summer - Pep will make sure of that.

Keep the faith BB...... Very Happy

I will, but fook me we can't keep saying we were unlucky.

In all seriousness and I know it's only football at the end of the day, but I think any of the other top 4 managers in charge and we would have won the league this year.   OK I can give him this season to bed in, but are you not even slightly concerned about next season?

Re: Arse vs City

Not watched any of it (not got BT), but sounds like video technology would have helped City again. The sooner this is brought in for major decisions the better...football really does need to be brought into the 21st century.

Sounds like City had the chances to wrap this game up...as per most games this season, but ran out of steam towards the end and paid the price for those misses.

The reported £250m Pep's reportedly being given in the summer needs to be spent...this current team obviously isn't good enough. Let hope the transfer business is done straight away too and not as the season's starting..we need all the players bedded in and ready for the 1st game of the season.

I put my coat on when they had that corner they scored from. We didn't look interested at all at that point. And I thought Navas was doing ok until they got that goal on his side. His fault? Don't think so. They had way too much time for the cross and he had no help, though maybe he should have shouted for someone to help him.

I thought Yaya had a decent game, he was about the only one looking to get the ball forwards.

We spent too much time pissing about passing the ball around and not making any real headway into their box.  It was like watching a Pellegrini team in action.  I'm sure the "perfect" goal would've been nice to see, but I'd settle for "imperfect" ones every time.

On the plus side, I now don't have to worry about how I'm going to fund a trip to the final.

I see yaya has said maybe the derby should be played without officials. They were absolutely diabolical onf again with many bad tackles going unpunished causing us to lose Sergio and silva to injury.

I personally thought Otamendi had a stormer again as well as a big shout for Yaya & Vinnie. It really seems to me that Otamendi looks every inch the defender when Kompany is beside him.
