City v Palace - Live Thread
Big game today....no Silva, Stones or Aguero. Silva's a big miss at the moment, so we need the likes of Sterling, Sane and KDB to step up.
Gabriel should start, so we need to take our chances early today.
Line-up? Will he start with Navas at RB again to counter Zaha's pace? Probably.
We need to move that out of MF much more quickly than we have been doing. Can TLMLF being back in MF alongside Fernandinho.
Willy
Navas, Vinny, Ota, Clichy
TLMLF, Ferna
Sterling, KDB, Sane
Gabriel

Good chance to pile the pressure on Rags / Gooners game tomorrow. No strikers to get in each others way, so please just take your chances. If we can do that for the last few games we are fine. Ever the optimist.

Re: City v Palace - Live Thread
Great save by Willy
Fernandinho done well going forward, but getting caught out when it breaks down
Clichy's had a great first half
Kompany has caught the 'jumping in' Otamendi disease
Otamendi's not done much wrong
TLMLF still holds the ball far too long
Silva is simply brilliant
Sterling still needs to take on a player round the outside
Sane needs to shoot along th floor and make the right decision, but is causing them loads of problems
Gabriel has been fairly quiet, but I think he'll get a goal
The football has been a joy to watch, but once again, we're not putting teams to bed early on.

Nearly the same old story, totally dominate teams but fail to convert that in to goals and only great save from Willy kept us in front

Re: City v Palace - Live Thread
Palace look dangerous on the break, but we've just passed them to death...the final decision or ball has been missing.
They should have at least 2 players in the book...
