City v Leicester - Live Thread
First topic message reminder :
Another early KO today. Should be a tighter game than last week.
Seems Stones and Aguero may be back, but can only see them getting a place on the bench. Can see a similar team to last week to start.

"sane was a wanker at the end for not passing to aguero or holding onto the ball to waste time." Agreed, but I think Willy deserves some credit for his performance today.

Re: City v Leicester - Live Thread
Well that was nothing short of fucking pathetic in that 2nd half.
Got 3 points, but boy oh boy....not one single player should be able to look at themselves tonight after that effort. Never seen such garbage passing and decision making in all my life. Utter guff!
Hope Pep absolutely goes mental at them. Sane? Sterling? KDB? TLMLF? Jesus? So many times they could have played another player in on goal....but made the wrong decision time after time.
They better pull their bastard fingers out for WBA.....
As I said, the 3 points are great....but we got away with 2 of them today.

Looks like Yaya is playing for that extra season though which is good to see. Â Or playing for the 2 year 200k offer from somebody else.

Man of the Moan for the past 26 months....how a City player got MOTM is beyond me.

I said the 3 points were great...but we've still got WBA next week and they were really good against Chelsea...and deserved something.
The poor decision making or nerves, looked to take over today - let's hope that's gone and this is a one-off, as we're not there yet.

your commentary is normally nothing but negatives, even if we're winning 3-0 FFS!
I'm happy with the win, but we're not there yet....and that performance worries me.

Well the luck that eluded us for the most of the season finally kicked in today.

Yep....thank god it did, as that's a game we could easily have lost....and that would have thrown our CL place into turmoil.
Too many piss poor performances today.

I generally say it as it is and you don't like it. I'm looking for improvements all the time. And I don't mind if you show a stream of my negative comments if we're winning 3-0 as I'm not sure you'll find many.Â
Chance to enhance our GD should be taken at every opportunity. Win this game by 4 goals and we'd only need one more win for CL footy. It doesn't feel right sounding like an Arsenal fan as we should be shooting for so much more

Mate, you say I'm negative even when we are winning 3-0 (happy for you to post my tirade of negative comments when we've been winning 3-0 unless it's your opinion and not actually a FACT). We've won the game and you ain't happy. People in glass houses.....

Yaya says he hates birthdays and feels younger than raheem who wishes him a happy 38th birthday.Â

Re: City v Leicester - Live Thread
Yes we won the game lot of fans are not happy. we were ok in the first half but created little then we were shit in the second half and were very lucky to come away with all 3 points. Scraping a win does not necessarily mean we should be happy, glad to get the points obviously but not happy in the way we got them with a huge slice of luck irrespective of whether we were due some.

Agree totally MCM....with WBA still to come, we need to seriously up our game for next week if we want to be sure - unless LFC and Arsenal can do us a favour.

Re: City v Leicester - Live Thread
We beat WBA and we need no favours from anyone. I want Arsenal to nick a spot at the expense of Liverpool. That would be nearly as good as Ajax doing a number on Utd in the final of the EL.

Yep Arsenal pipping Liverpool to 4th and the rags missing out an CL again would be ideal

Re: City v Leicester - Live Thread
First half performance was pretty good albeit with the same lack of clinical finishing in the final third. In the 2nd half we had some key decisions go our way. About F*****g time as we've not seen nout all season. It's fine to criticise the team when we scrape a win, but for balance we should give more credit when we win or draw against the run of play. One example would be our performances against Chelsea which merited more than we got & I don't think we deserved to draw in all the 7 games we have this season, luck & poor referees decisions have played a role. Massive room for performance, but with some key personal changes next season we should have the season we deserve.

Think Shakespeare was quite fair in his assessment - I know of many Managers who would have tried to nail Fernandinho for that elbow:
