If we sell Kelechi for £20m...then we only need to spend £30m on Sanchez - and we get a top class replacement that brings goals and assists.

I'd see him more as a interim upgrade from Sterling for the next 2 years.. with the increased competition and level of players to bring Sterling on further...

Think he's a far better player than an interim upgrade on Sterling...

He has everything Pep likes in a player - hence why Pep bought him at Barca. Goals, assists, work ethic, pace, aggression.

Yep, he may come for a few seasons then move on again, but he's a top class player and has top class PL pedigree - so they'll be no having to adjust.

Will we just end up with great players that are a bit too greedy? They are al a bit selfish to be the players they are. Would sterling be happy to be on the Ben h for 2-3 years? Shouldn't complain really as he had ample opportunity to nail down his spot this season

Think Pep needs the squad to have 'class' in depth...as I reckon he'll want to be challenging on ALL fronts next season.

He likes to rotate - so we 'have' to have the same level of class players to bring in....not the likes of Fernando, Navas, Nolito...

Can you imagine having Sterling as your 'back up' to Sanchez? And Gundogan and B. Silva as 'back up' midfielders???

I meant interim as in Sanchez will have 2 or 3 years left in him at top level..

Sorry Moon...didn't mean it as a 'slight'....was just saying...."he's more than an interim player".. Very Happy

I was just clarifying, I'm viewing the next 5 years as the team at a minimum.
So on that end, Aguero, Messi and Sanchez will all have moved on by then  :p
