Mendy and Gundogan won't be fit for the start of the season. So we only have two fit first team full backs for the start of the season.

Think Mendy will be ready, but may not initially start. Gundogan can take his time, as we have plenty of options.

Yeah, I thought that, but wasn't sure if he meant 8 months of the season ahead of him, as he corrected that and said "10 months of the season ahead of him"....
It couldn't have been serious, if he's had it for 8 months and also passed his medical. They're probably being cautious with him.
