Fantasy Football 2017-18

Post by blueboy on Fri Jul 28, 2017 11:09 am

First topic message reminder :

Hi everyone

If you wish to join this seasons FF League, then please PM and I'll reply with the code.

It's a little different this year. No Head to Head, just Classic League, however, there's something called Draft, which I'm yet to get my head around, but it's mandatory. It seems it's a side game to the Classic League, and you have to choose Draft picks or it does it automatically....not sure, will read up on it, or if anyone already knows, let me know. Razz

Just removed Sanchez from my team
I put him in as I thought he'd be a City player
So anyone wanting a guaranteed hat trick this weekend should now put him in  Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

See you've got 25 points on the board already for 3 players? Nice start. That should only leave you 3 behind me before we KO.  Wink

Stop looking at my team.haha

I needed to do at as I'm going for manager of month in another league...and thats worth a tenner. Its between 2 of us n im 6pts behind after today, i need a couple of Loserpoo players to do well tomorrow to nick it.

Sergio dropping out had to be replaced by either Kane or Lukaku...and I couldn't afford Kane. I hated doing it...but money talks.

.................

So...you can keep your points from last week for Rashford....but if you want to keep rags in your team, your points for them will be deducted from our league. Only fair, as it was stipulated clearly before the season started.

-21 points this week Den.  Wink

Anyone else with rag players in their team will have their points deducted as well

It's pretty straightforward...just sign up for this league with another email address, or create one for free for this league if you've other teams in other leagues.

I'm trying to be fair to everyone. Very Happy

So you've  just decided to make this points deduction rule up from now Andy....this wasn't mentioned at the  start of the season, so your rule should be null n void.

Ok. What would you like me to do when before the season started, the rules were clearly explained and I reposted the comment a few posts back? I also said last week that no rags were allowed when you had Rashford, then this week you added Lukaku as well, saying it's all about the money in your other league.

If everyone else can't select players from United who we know will score points against lesser teams, why should you?

If you have a solution, let me know? All ears.

Or, happy to see what others think.

It's just a game, but it has to have a semblance of being a level playing field. Very Happy:D

Broke the rules. Simple as. My kids had to get rid of DDG before the season started because of the no rag rule. Lukaku too.

Haha...keep your rules, but you can stick um up your arse.

I'm gonna make wholesale changes next week, let's see what I can throw together. Hopefully King Serge will be close to returning, that will eliminate Lukaku straightaway.

Can I have Rooney in place of Rashford....or are ex Rags not allowed either?

I think Den should be kicked out. Blatantly breached the rules with Rashford. It was no accident ! Andy wrongly let him keep the 2 points. Then he brings Lukaku in.

My lads are currently top of their FF leagues....and both have RAG players in their teams...but I told them for this league..."NO WAY"
