West ham look bad. couple of poor kicks from their keeper under pressure

we're putting them under pressure, but pre season pressure (not fully at them)

lazy play at the back from the defence and a nice ball from Kev

I wouldn't blame Hart for his pass out, but he should have booted it for me.

miss kick from Sane or we could have been in again for 2-0

It was a ridiculous pass out from the back when City had pretty much 3 players marking their defenders.

Re: City v WHU - Pre-season
they had one more man than us there. weak pass out wide and the man just didn't put the effort to make it before the city player.blueboy wrote:Topdawg wrote:I wouldn't blame Hart for his pass out, but he should have booted it for me.

I'm sure we'll see it again to confirm exactly what happened

we're looking several cuts above and we're coasting along, not even putting in full effort here...

I think West Ham will take some batterings this season

I also think we'll see us scoring 6 or more a few times this season

Re: City v WHU - Pre-season
Well that was like my toothache...horrible.
The only bright point was Ederson, sending two of their strikers to the chip shop!
Aguero, Jesus....still looking miles off the pace. Silva looks even worse.
TLMLF just slows everything down - still.
Get Walker on at RWB for Otamendi, get Danilo back on the left, get TLMLF off for Foden, bring Sterling on for Jesus or Aguero and bring Bernardo on for Silva. There, sorted.

Having to go by text from a couple of sources, but sounds like ederson is a real risk taker. I have a feeling that he will get away with it most of the time, but every mistake will be put under the microscope by the rag press.

Ederson is already becoming a legend IMO, so whoever is telling you he's a risk-taker, tell them to stop being a party-pooper!!

On the other hand, Joe Hart looks like he's kicking a wrecking ball....every kick goes about 150 feet in the air, barely reaching half way!

Re: City v WHU - Pre-season
It sounds funny, but he is one of the new players that I'm really excited about. Thinking ahead to the Liverpool game his goal kicks can help defeat their high press as goal kicks can't be off side & that could throw a spanner in their works if utilised well.

Sadly cant get no stream hre so am keeping up to date via city website not a lot of reporting but one tweet saying we look really comfortable with the back 3 of stones, otamendi, & Kompany. Then I come on here & it is like a different report. I have to wait until Sunday evening before I can see the game on Foxtel.

I think we do need another striker to put pressure on Jesus in particular

Yaya may slow it down, but he's the link between defence and attack and is always available close to the back 3

If we don't sign another striker then I think Pep will revert to one up front & rotate between the two of them.

I have a feeling that Yaya will rotate with Gundogan throughout the season

Re: City v WHU - Pre-season
that's probably ok since Gundogan is coming back from injury and Yaya can't play 3 games in a weekStrange Blue wrote:I have a feeling that Yaya will rotate with Gundogan throughout the season
