I think Bernardo did alright especially as he's not up to speed yet. 6 from me. Would've been 7 but he was a bit greedy. Sterling would have got a 2 for his first half showing and 5 for the 2nd half. Generously giving him a point for the goal as I'm not sure it was going in without the deflection

Disappointed that 3 defenders got booked when Bournemouth really didn't threaten that much after their goal. Thought kev and Dave did alright and were worth something between 6 and 7

I've just posted the video on Twitter of the incident....Police crush a fan celebrating the goal on floor....Aguero goes over to make sure the fan is OK, is push by a steward, Police get involved, grabbing his arm and pulling him away, he pulls away from Police officers, pointing to the fan. 

He'll get a 120 match ban for that, surely?

Game was 4:30am here, saw part of the 1st half & all of the 2nd. Ref ruined the game yet again. This is getting f****ing ridiculous. Pep visibly upset by this and you can't blame him. Their player scores & jumps over the advertising hoarding & nothing, Sterling doesn't even leave the pitch & is red carded. The time when is completely taken out at the comer & could have been injured, but nothing given. You could go on & on.

Just watched MOTD and even though all stuck up for Raheem, including Shearer, he did say that refs told him they had no choice but to give a yellow.

BBC pictures were pretty clear, hobby Bobby kneeling on that fans back and arm, no wonder Sergio was concerned. Fans were dicks though for coming on pitch, see that police video man getting all their faces. They will all get stadium bans the idiots.

well even I can't defend my favorite ref this time.... Looks like he has now fallen in line With all the rest of them. It would be great if we could give a man of the match award to a ref by not noticing him. As for the game thought we got out of Jail a bit but it was the least we deserved, we always looked the more likely. Was pissed off at the end as there is no way Sterling deserved that red. Is it not Normal to celebrate a goal? Most players go up to their fans end & celebrate???? as shearer put it, After Daniels scored 7 players of Bournemouth, by Deans logic could have been booked as they were closer to the fans than Sterling was. FFS sterling didn't even leave the pitch.. Lineker trying to support Ref Until shearer said what would you do in the last seconds of a game.....


Bournemouth fans whinging about playing over 5mins of added on time, Serves them right when the board for 5 mins went up Dean was talking to 4th official then warned Howe & Pep in the 1st 4 mins ball in play for 40 seconds Afobe injured Begovich took 40 seconds from ball going out to take a goal lick so Dean rightly added time on ( probably only thing he got right all game)
 

Thought Bernardo played really well considering his 1st game in the premier league, Yes he needs to get up to speed but the touches were there loved the one two of the chest with Dave. I was having heart failiure with Mendy in the 1st 20 mins Bournemouth raided down the right on numerous occasions & Mendy was up the pitch forcing Otamendi to cover reminded me of Kolarov. Grew into the game from about 30 mins on. Great crossing & again when up to speed & used to prem should be quite an asset. My other criticism was his ball watching in defence instead of picking up the man. Defoe in the 1st half shot that Ederson saved then King hit the post Mendy ball watching. Both times it was his man... Needs to concentrate a bit more. I will take the 3 points gladly but we really have to improve sharpish. Hope Gundogan comes through reserve game.

Two points: Bernardo's was a 'Ballo' shoulder....and Otamendi was the one ball watching and let Defoe drift in behind him. You always defend with an extra player at the back post....Mendy's job. Otamendi was ball watching pretty much all game - thought he was poor considering his performances lately.

sorry blue otamendi picked up the runner in front having watched it twice  mendy was the one who should of reacted no one behind him & can see in front. I was always taught look along the line. Not blaming him in his first game in prem but those lapses in concentration need to be sorted now. shoulder chest couldn't give a rats was still impressive in the context of the game.
