Kompany - was he an idiot to play?

Post by Topdawg on Sun Sep 10, 2017 4:26 pm

Reported that Vinnie hurt his knee in the 9-0 drubbing of Gibraltar. He carries on and then hurt his calf. Not sure if the two were related but reported one led to the other. Whatever, he shouldn't have even played in this game. And he should have stopped as soon as he had the problem.

He needs to retire from international football.
If he even makes next years WC you can guarantee he'll get
Injured to keep him out if the 2018/19 season

If, after the WC (as he'll definitely go), he doesn't promise to retire....just sell him. That simple.

He clearly doesn't give a shit about City, otherwise, he'd have told Belgium he wasn't needed for a game against Gibraltar...and that he wanted to ensure his longevity.

I'm sure Pep isn't impressed one iota. He pretty much said in his interview on Friday, when he said "we've had him on a specific training regime that has allowed him to play games towards the end of last season and 90 mins in every game this season, but 2 games in a week is difficult. Now he's injured. Not seriously, but we'll see when he can come back"

"How you gonna live your dash?"
