Manchester Police had a dig at Liverpool after their 5-0 trouncing by Manchester City - posting a cheeky tweet ripping into Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
The tweet, posted by the Greater Manchester Police Middleton account said: “We are deploying a number of officers to Eastlands to take 11 reports of assault due to the beating just handed out to Liverpool FC.“
Racking up hundreds of likes and retweets within minutes, the tweet got a huge response from Man City fans celebrating their victory over Liverpool at the Ethiad, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Officers have since deleted the tweet after it sparked a huge online reaction.

The account usually posts updates from officers in the Middleton area of Greater Manchester.
One Manchester United supporter replied saying: “Would you able to send a rescue team to help Find Liverpool’s title hope?“ to which police responded: “As long as we find it before next August as next year will be their year.“
