Before then, Pep's full presser. Spurs win 4-0, Rags winning 3-0.

5 years later people will be saying "Pep the fraud, easy to win silverware when you have players like Messi & Delph"

Guess we'll never satisfy some rag journos.
Below are some highlighted comments:
If not always at their glittering best – especially in a first half in which they conceded possession too readily
With his midfield three and with Anders Christiansen a natural born leader at the back, Chelsea were happy to harry City on the counter and did so quite effectively.

Already some rags on Twitter saying "you haven't beaten anyone yet. Wait until you play a proper team in Dec"...
They are the gifts that keeps giving.

"especially in a first half in which they conceded possession too readily" what when we had north of 70% possession?

Yeah I know, but sometimes you've gotta scratch your head & wonder if they (a) watched the same game or (b) even glanced at the in game stats

One thing pissed me off with those reports watching them all Graham Sharp what an arse Ciy made Chelsea look bad it wasn't that Chelsea didn't turn up, we did not allow them time to settle, pass, move forward.
My other beef is this tiredness crap from Conte etc. Go back 2 weeks We played Feyenoord on the Weds 1 hour or so travel back then had the LUNCHTIME game on the Saturday AWAY at Watford.
Chelsea play in Spain on the Weds 2 hours travel back but play at HOME on the Saturday in the EVENING fixture. Isn't the rest more in Chelsea's favour if you take that in hours. I didn't hear Pep moan about the Watford fixture before the game & we had enough to put 6 past them NO Excuses.

Yeah, I was surprised. You win in Madrid 2-1, you'd have thought they'd have been buoyed by that result....that's what was worrying me. However, if the manager tells you you'll be tired, then subconsciously, you will be.
Tough shit really. That's what a squad is for.
