What’s the rules on ticket allocation to visiting fans? Isn’t it based on a % of the expected attendance or the capacity?

it's minimum of 3000 for grounds over 30,000 capacity (or 10% minimum for smaller grounds).
with the cap of £30 per ticket for away fans, they can easily sell the rest of the tickets for more than that on Derby day...

I seem to remember the rags negotiating a lower percentage of away fans with the FA on the grounds their stadium held significantly more fans than any other and it wasn't fair that they had to take fewer fans on the road. That should've been the price of success, but as was usual the FA sucked up to them.
