Impact on alienating half of Manchester, perhaps...  What impact has he had at Liverpool, other than filling a gap at right back?

He was left back. Remember he said he went there to play CM. Most of last season at LB and most of this season not playing. 

Not winning trophies either

Oh yeah, left back, my bad.  Still, some impact, eh?  Like I said, the biggest impact he's had is getting us to go from respecting him to thinking he's a total tosspot.
