Bristol City vs City

Post by Topdawg on Mon Jan 22, 2018 12:28 pm

First topic message reminder :

Pep says it would unfair to drop Gundogan, Bernardo or Mangala. Shit.

Bravo
Walker, Stones, Mangala, Zinky
Gundogan
Bernardo, Kev, Dave, Sane
Aguero

Don't like a team with Gundogan and Bernardo in it.

Loved Aden Flint's tweet after the game last night. "Asked Pep Guardiola if he wanted to swap his Stone Island jacket for my shirt...he declined"

Ticket prices released on Arsenal’s website
Doubt we will even sell out at those prices

We are pleased to announce the ticket sales process for the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City on Sunday, February 25, 2018 (kick-off 4.30pm).
We are due to receive an allocation of approximately 32,200 tickets for the match.
Tickets are priced at £100 (extremely limited), £90 (limited), £72, £56 and £40. Concessions will be available to Juniors (16 years and under) and Senior Citizens (over 65) at 50% of the advertised price and Young Adults (17 years - 21 years) at 25% discount of the advertised price. Booking fees will apply.

I don't mind what the ticket price is (slum it or go in style, happy just to take my lad)...if we can all sit together it'd be great. We can then marvel at Dawg's 'beauty' as he thinks we're all ugly bastards!!  Razz Razz Razz Razz

He might even get his 'guns' out if it's warm enough!

Hi guys.

Just booked my hotel for 25th Feb for me and my lad. Novotel London Wembley. Only £94 for a Superior Twin Room through Booking.Com.

0.3 miles from the stadium and has parking.

We'll be driving down early on Sunday and returning sometime Monday, when they kick us out, probably around 11:00...so will have 3 spare seats in the car if anyone wants a lift down?

Rich, really appreciate all of your help with the tickets...just let me know how you want paying, before or on the day in cash.

Guess we can all meet up somewhere?

If anyone still needs a hotel....through Booking.Com, got this code.

You and I, will get a £15 voucher if it's used. Not sure if anyone uses Booking.Com....but if you need a hotel, might be worth it for the future.

Sorry...should have said "a lift down and back"!!

There's parking at ours if you can drive to us...it'll probably be on the way for most of you anyway, so your cars will be safe on the farm. 10 mins off the M56/53 junction.

I've already booked for the weekend, but that seems a good deal Bluey.

Looks like I might be going down on Tuesday since my wife has some work in London that week.

Rich, if you're getting the tickets, I assume they'll all be together and you'll get them as soon as the tickets go on sale? Might be a better idea if you can get one for me too rather than me sit somewhere else.

Not sure it would be a good idea to bring any 10yo with me, even though I'm sure you're all nice guys! He said 'what the fuck'this morning which is the first time he's sworn in English (I don't understand the French swear words he uses!).

No probs Den. We're driving down anyway....and the train tickets may be expensive now, so happy to help wherever possible. Might request a beer at some point though!   Laughing

Anyone else is more than welcome. We'll aim to get to the hotel around 12:00, so giving us plenty of time to have a few bevvies before the game and meet up.

We can leave a bit earlier on the Monday if others need to, but not til after the rush hour traffic has died down. Should be back in Chester around 15:00.

As mentioned, 3 spaces available there and back...and parking at our place, so just let me know whenever suits.

Let's hope the f*ck we win!! affraid

when you add in the bevvies and travel etc it's already way north of £100 on the cheap budgets.
I'll have a check with some guys locally if they have a min bus going down or not etc over the weekend...
I do know that they are quite strict on the booze on board coaches etc getting anywhere near Wembley

Happy to have a whip round for you on here Moon. I can always give you a lift, still got 2 spare seats on the car. Happy to chuck a fiver/tenner in to the kitty.

Just go sick on Monday and I can bring you back. Maybe you can bunk in with Den?? Very Happy

As for flights Wensdi, not sure a whip round would get you the airfare. Sorry!  Sad

I've got to haggle with the wife over spending monies (can afford etc, but then something else is on a back burner)
would have to be back on the Sunday night as work on the Monday.
Mrs Moon would also have to change shifts to accomodate as she works most weekends.

Once I get a transport cost I can pitch it to her again.
