Sanchez Open goal miss

Post by ManCityMan on Sun Feb 11, 2018 3:34 pm

Raheem got abuse and ridicule last week for his miss at the far post. I have just watched Sanchez waste an opportunity to stick the ball into an empty Newcastle net after taking an extra, unnecessary touch after rounding the prostrate keeper, will he receive the same attention?

You just know that ain't gonna happen....the media will just ignore it, as "he's settling in at United". Shocked

Think I mentioned this a year ago....and you can all give me grief - again! I'll happily take it.

But, with Ferdy getting close to the end of his career....and we're supposed to be in for Fred, unproven and close to £50m...would Jonjo Shelvey be an ideal replacement for Ferdy? He's only 25, knows the PL and for the most part, every time I see him play, he's always very good. Great on the ball, good engine, good tackler, great passer.

Just call it as you see it....call me all the pricks in the world if you like... Razz Razz Razz

If you'r ever feeling down, just stick the Carrick can on for a couple of minutes....its bound to chear you up.

Jonjo Shelvey.....er, no thanks.

Sanchez should have stayed at Arsenal, as he's gonna win just as much by being at the Rags.haha

Sanchez moved to a team who has finished below his old team four seasons in a row, can’t win at Newcastle (Mourinho hasn’t ever won a game at St. James Park BTW), and hasn’t won a trophy bigger than the Europa League since 2013. Something tells me he didn’t move to United for “trophies”. I know that a footballers career is short, but would you, if you already had 10’s of millions go to a team like united after stagnating at Arse when you had a nailed on Prem medal for your first season?

As for Shelvey...I think he's a seriously good player. Bit hot-headed, can be a bit dirty granted, but Fernandinho anyone?? Could easily have seen red for his stamp on the player the other week.  Wink

Jonjo Shelvey? The one at Newcastle??  Seriously???  You ARE aware that we're not relegation battlers that don't have a pot to piss in any more, aren't you?

Anyway, back on topic, here are the Sanchez miss excuses in full:

I understand now. Agent Sanchez.

Take the United buck for 6 months. Fuck up their season so badly that they want to get rid of in the summer and move across the city.

They forgot a few excuses:
He had a belly ache,
Somebody in the crowd shouted,
He sneezed,
He wasn't shown enough love as a baby,
He was tired,
He was thinking what he was going to have for dinner,
There was a curse on the ball,
And, oh yeah, he's shite and a waste of money.
