City vs Basle

Post by Topdawg on Tue Mar 06, 2018 10:47 am

We’re pretty much through already. Next league games is on Monday.
I expect Pep to keep the intensity up but he may rotate 2-3 players. He could leave out Dave or kev, or even both, for Foden. Sterling could also come back into the side and Jesus could play up top. I’d give VK a run out with Stones.

We don't play til Monday night....Pep's said today he won't be letting up and making mistakes. Can't see both Foden AND Diaz starting.

Hope so, but doubt it.

Pep confirms Fernandinho will be back for Stoke, not Basel.

Pep says Basle game may be a game too soon for Ferna and Raheem but maybe Stoke

Makes sense. We're 4-0 up and they need to score five more than us to stand a chance, which I can't see them doing.

Sat outside Sinclair's Oyster Bar in Manchester. Full of Basel fans! They'll make a noise tonight!

Family meal tonight so can't watch but still think an easy 3-0 with a bit of rotation.

No, because that would put it at a draw.  They need to score 5 more than we do tonight, regardless.
