Especially, when you think Mendy has made more crosses (29 in 6 games) than Delph and Walker have all season.

Not sure I agree about Sergio going in the summer though Phil.

I'd only be happy to see Serge go if we landed Kane as his replacement....I wouldn't be happy with any other striker signing at the minute.

Can't wait to see what Mendy is like when he comes back.

Salah will have his hands full on the right, with Mendy and Sane!!

The 1st video is amazing, really worth watching all the way through.

The thing with Mendy is that Sane didn't start when Mendy did. We played 3 at the back with wing backs and Mendy was our 'winger' putting in the crosses.

When Mendy got injured, Sane came in and Delph/Danilo/ Zinchenko usually defer to him when it comes to crosses. Sane is usually further upfield and he's the man to put the ball into the box.

But we've played 4-3-3 since Mendy's injury...the option is to go back to a 3 at the back, which hasn't been played for a long time, or have Mendy at LB instead of Delph or Zinchenko.

Overlapping and crosses, I know who'd I'd rather have. Guess we'll see how fit he can be.
