Yeah...rumours are David's not playing today.

Don't know why he can't go straight after the game and be back for training next week.

All out attack with our best team.

Diaz and Foden need more sub appearances for a medal.

Well...I've said it before and I'll say it again.....Gundogan is garbage.

Far too slow, brings fuck all from an energy point of view. Only decent when he's got the ball with nobody around him.

Get Foden on for him ffs.

As for Ederson...wow, lucky to get away with the disallowed goal...then should easily have saved that free kick.

Without David, we just fuck about with it in MF.......FODEN ON AT HT...get GUNDOGAN OFF. Rolling Eyes

What about Kev’s Passes into touch? Or Walker’s pass to them and switching off a few minutes later? Or the goals we could have scored.

FODEN would bring a shit load more energy in MF. Think Ota needs removing - one more tackle and he's off.

Get Gundogan and Ota off. Get Mendy/Foden on and go to a back 3.

Ederson
Walker, Laporte, Delph
Sterling, KDB, Ferdy, Foden, Mendy
Jesus, Sane

TLMLF? Can't wait for him to fuck right off. Sorry TLMLF fans, but he's a cock. Grabbing the free kick off Sane...then hitting the wall.  Sleep Sleep Sleep Sleep Sleep

Thought Sane was poor today....and that free kick that TLMLF took off him, just summed up his day.

Razza again...MOTM.

Could easily have had Diaz and Foden on today instead of TLMLF and Gundogan.

Good to see Nmecha get some minutes.

We could easily have gone for that in the 2nd half and smashed the record....but we spent 25 mins of that half, just pissing about with the ball.

4-1, can't complain...but we could have smashed other records today, especially as there's another week before the next game.

It's just looking too easy.

Re: Hammers vs City

That's probably been my main gripe with this season. We've won games early and switched off to let teams score and then we wobble a little. We've won games so early that we've spent up to 60 minutes just passing the ball around.

We may never get the chance to do what we've been doing ever again. or at least not so decisively.

Smashing Liverpool 5-0 was sweet. But we should have absolutely battered teams like Arsenal away rather than be happy with the 3-0.

I really think we should have had 120 league goals already.

That game was a walk in the park. We could and should have stuck a bagful past them, and smashed a couple more records:

Biggest PL win - currently 9-0 (rags v Ipswich)
Biggest PL away win - currently 1-8 (Forest v rags)

We were certainly good for it.

Was really pleased to see Nmecha get on. What disappointed me most though was the amount of times he made runs into the box only for the person with the ball decide to play the ball in the opposite direction. This happened time & time again. In the 15 minutes or so he was on he only touched the ball about 4 times. To be honest it looked to me as though the senior players didn't trust him with a pass.
It was only Toure who passed to him twice, otherwise he probably wouldn't have touched the ball at all.

My main frustrations yesterday was the bloody linesman & Ref. The lino was so close to 3 incidents and got them all wrong.... And Kev's inability to beat the first man when taking a corner.

It was 4-1.  Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I posted on Twitter today - and this isn't a go at you Oz - but look how far we have come, when we are all moaning about a goal being conceded, or not scoring 7 or 8.

Going back 20 years...can you have imagined us saying "yeah, was OK, we scored 4, conceded a sloppy free kick and possibly should have had 7 or 8"... Razz Razz Razz

Very true, matey.  20 years ago, we'd have been saying, "Well, that could've been worse, and at least we scored one!"

I'm moaning, ever so slightly, because I want us to be as good as we can be. I don't see that yet.

20 years ago, we were shit. But I wanted us to be the best we could be with the players we had.

So, conceding sloppy goals annoys me. Not scoring form the multitude of good chances, frustrates me.

I know what you mean, Dawg. With this team we have, we should be destroying everything in our path, winning the league in March, scooping up every domestic and European trophy we come up against and basically being the best team ever, in perpetuity throughout the universe.

Except we can't, and we won't.  It's just not possible to be flawlessly good.  And if we ever got to that point, everyone would be bored shitless.

I'm bored towards the end of games when we're just passing it about between two players. It was funny earlier in the season, but now it's pointless.

I'm not expecting g to smash every team but, when we can, we should do. Earlier in the season we battered Palace 5-0, Liverpool 5-0, Watford 6-0 and Stoke 7-2.

It wasn't exactly novel to the players to go round banging teams, but they kept on going in games for longer. Seemed they were really enjoying it. Now, maybe they are so used to it, they can't be arsed going for the throat.
