Re: Hammers vs City
I'm bored towards the end of games when we're just passing it about between two players. It was funny earlier in the season, but now it's pointless.
I'm not expecting g to smash every team but, when we can, we should do. Earlier in the season we battered Palace 5-0, Liverpool 5-0, Watford 6-0 and Stoke 7-2.
It wasn't exactly novel to the players to go round banging teams, but they kept on going in games for longer. Seemed they were really enjoying it. Now, maybe they are so used to it, they can't be arsed going for the throat.

Yeah, must admit - there's still a dark side of me that enjoys the "oh fuck me" moments with us. Not sure it will ever go away - nor do I want it to.
I'd hate to be going into a game where's there's absolutely no jeopardy.

Yeah, but don't forget - we're coming to the end of a long campaign - and I'm sure some of the players are starting to feel it. I'm also sure, that if it was 1-1 with 30 mins to go, we'd be all out attack - like the United game.Topdawg wrote:I'm bored towards the end of games when we're just passing it about between two players. If the players are feeling it, get them subbed with 30 minutes to go when we are 3-0 or 4-1 up. That's what I'd do, but I'm a fan not the manager.

Think Pep did make changes...just not the changes I think we all wanted to see.

It's on the walk down from Penn St Station towards the 9/11 Memorial. Have you been before? If not, I'll let you know where to go. Where you staying?

Re: Hammers vs City
I am not moaning about a goal being scored or one being disallowed so no offence taken. I am complaining at the standard of the officials when standing a matter of a few yards away they can still get so many decisions wrong. That is what I find hard to stomach.
