It's surely only the media love-fest for the dippers. When he was there, he was a "fantastic talent with a bright future".  But now he's realising this talent and future, he's a "money grabbing snake with no loyalty".

Surely anyone with talent is going to be picked up by a club with the right ambitions?  I don't see anyone lambasting Virgil Van Dyke for his move from Southampton and I certainly don't recall anyone giving Gareth Bale abuse for his move to Madrid.  I remember the crap that Fabian Delph got for coming to us, but that was more of his own doing (i.e. pledging his future with Villa before moving) than anything else.

And it's not just the press, but rival fans as well.  I can understand Arsenal fans being unhappy with us buying Nasri, just as they were when the rags bought Van Persie and I'm okay with that. But why the fuck were Bristol City fans booing Raheem for his move? It doesn't affect their day to day operations, so why do they even care?

I think it's the audacity of Stirling that upset the whole dipper loving country.

How on earth could he leave gods own club to join a small club with no history.

They probably should have put him in prison and thrown the keys away.
