Everyone to their own Andy, but after watching that I honestly can't believe you never mentioned Kane....and I'm sorry for repeating myself here.

I personally can't see Pep going after a striker this season, but If you're gonna spend upwards of £150m on one (Mbappe, Lewendowski or some no mark from Barca n Real), the most proven one around actually plays in England....and is English.

As I said, everyone to their own.

Kane has just signed a new 6 year contract, not going to happen ever not even for 200m plus. With the current team intact Spurs are guaranteed a top 4 place for the foreseeable future.  I agree with Pep I don't think we need a new specialist striker. Someone who is versatile and can play across the front 3 is what Pep is after. That's the whole point of signing Riyad Mahrez isn't it? I get that we have to eventually replace Kun, but he's surely good for another 2-3 seasons. Personally I've got a small bet on Jesus being the top scorer at the WC at 16-1.

Sergio will leave at the end of his contract which runs too 2020. That's only 2 more seasons. By then, Jesus should be firing on all cylinders.

So we'd need another striker, at the latest, next summer.

Contracts mean nothing except security for the player. They will have a buy out clause inserted, so when they want to move, they will.
Kane will stay this season, but when Spurs finish 4th again (or lower), he'll be pushing for a move imo.

I think Kane will stay at least two seasons unless Poch goes and/or they fall out of the CL
