Pep’s at it again
Why oh why would Pep with penalties looming take off our number 1 and number 2 penalty takers.

Obviously now the dust has settled it comes to light that both the penalty takers requested to be withdrawn. Hardly peps fault. I still cant believe that silva knowing the importance of the game didn't go for the corner. It is frustrating that our finishing in general this season has been somewhat lacking. The only solace about last night was Arsenal failed also.

No excuse for Silva's awful attempt. I remember when Aguero did the same thing. No solace for me that Arsenal lost either. Totally disappointing result after most of the possession in the second half and overtime. I'm sure there will be a lack of confidence now going into the Chelsea game and Palmer will be out to prove a point.

Both players requested to be taken off. Unless they were injured and unable to carry on I fine amazing. Pep should have known penalties was the most likely outcome and should have told them to get on with it.

I think Kevin was out of gas Nijinsky - Haaland I don't know. He didn't do much during the game. I thought Grealish should have been substituted long before he was.

i'm hoping we have the same mentality as 2 years ago. Losing to madrid in extra time after leading going into injury time. I remember everyone saying how would we react? we would be deflated and low.
we went and trounced Newcastle 5-0 and never lost a game on our way to winning the league.

Poor penalties.
What the penalty coach needs to do is tell them which corner they need to aim for. This immediately takes away the overthinking or the brazen stupidity of tapping it down the middle.
By being told what to do, it takes some of the pressure off the player.
If the player hits his corner, and the keeper saves it, it's the fault of the coach and the player will feel less guilty.
