Zaba ready to leave....

Let's hope he gets a one year extension to have a testimonial....he's a City legend.

Re: Zaba ready to leave....
Bollocks to that, I vote we get some bungee cord and strap him down to the nearest immovable object so he can't leave!
But seriously, while I can be objective and say that he's not at his best any more and that it's better for him to keep playing in some capacity while he can, I do have to object to him missing out on a testimonial for the sake of one solitary season. Can't we keep him for 12 months and loan him out to whoever he wants to play for, just so we can bestow this honour upon him? It is the absolute least we can do for a man who hasn't just been a great player, but has embraced our club and our city with passion. In that article, someone commented that he's up there with Mike Doyle, and I'd have to agree.

I don't think Zabba has done a lot wrong when he's come on this season..
I'd certainly keep him another year as experience and cover for a new RB and let Sagna go in a heartbeat..
