Just read this from Jeremy Cross of The Star
https://www.pressreader.com/uk/daily-star/20170914/282505773764517
I can't find the article on their website...maybe it's been taken down, but it's in the paper copy apparently. I can only find the article using PressReader, so it won't let me copy the text or download it.
But here's just a few of the 'typical' language used by these shite journo's.
"Once again, the billionaire's appeared to go into it with more hope than expectation after Guardiola admitted his side were still no closer to winning the trophy his bosses covet the most"
(just remind me again, are we the only club in the PL with billionaire owners? when are Spurs, United, Chelsea, Liverpool ever referred to as 'the billionaires'? also, not sure Pep ever spoke those words in his press conference)
"But the pressure is on Guardiola, with City only getting past the last 16 just once in their history. This is an appalling record considering the mind-boggling sums of money, owner Shiekh Mansour has lavished on players"
(remember - this is his match report)
Makes my fucking blood boil. Right....he's getting it on Twitter today. No wonder City fans hate 99% of football journalists.

I was pretty sure it was KDB who crossed for Stones' first goal too?
one thing that slipped under the radar last night was the body-check on Jesus..
we carried on playing with possession fro about 3 minutes after and the ref never even spoke to their defender.
I'm sure he was one booked not too long after.

Silva crossed for Stones' first header.
I just couldn't believe the scissor tackle on Walker. Off the floor, from behind, right boot caught Walker above his knee!! WTF? And that ref had sent of 10 players in his last 9 games!!

I'm sure if it was a Liverpool player doing it they would have been up in arms at the City player blocking their guys challenge for the ball...

I used to get royally fucked off by the openly anti-city comments by these fuck nuggets (they aren't journalists or writers, as that would imply some level of talent). But now it makes me piss myself knowing that every performance like last night's really ruins their day.
Long may it continue.

John Cross on Twitter, actually wrote this:
Journalism pet hate 325. When bang average former players are reintroduced into the media as "legends."
I replied:
Fan pet hate 326. Being exposed to utter guff written by biased red top journos. Even worse, listening to them on TS and The Sun Supp.

Re: Just read this from Jeremy Cross of The Star
I watched the match last night and kept hearing comments about the money. Like most of the teams in the CL are brassic. Fuck off.
Oh, and Dunnie is a legend. So Jeremy Cross can fuck off as well.
