Sergio has resumed light training today
according to MCFC.
Not sure he'll be fit for the weekend, but great news.
Poor LFC...Mane out for at least 6 weeks due to an injury picked up on International duty.

And hairbear was done on international duty for Belgium too.
Just hope all ours get back OK before we gloat though. Kev had a tight hamstring apparently also with Belgium. That would be annoying.

Rumours are, that Maureen is pissed off as Martinez may play Lukaku tonight!
Let's hope KDB is rested.

Wales has also provided some "international relief "
Key Stoke City midfielder a major injury doubt for Manchester City clash

I hope Sergio sits out the Stoke game so they don't kick lumps out of him, although if he gets 10mins at the end of a 5-0 victory all the better.

Serge won't be playing. One thing I've noticed under Pep is, he doesn't let players rush back.

Re: Sergio has resumed light training today
I doubt Sergio will play the next two league games as he'd be especially targeted. Better to miss a few games and come back fully fit with everyone accepting that targeting his ribs won't make a difference by then

"with everyone accepting that targeting his ribs won't make a difference by then" sad, but true. This will be a chance to put some distance between us and the rags with a straight run of home games & them facing top 6 opponents for a change.
