115 Charges
As a Life long blue, I do not believe my club would be guilty of any of these charges.
BUT if we were found guilty and given a harsh punishment what would be the implication’s. My first thoughts go with all the staff that would have to loose their jobs because our revenue would drop so much we’d have to reduce the size of the operation.
I have no idea what would become of the team, would we be able to afford the likes of Foden, Haaland Grealish etc.

Re: 115 Charges
I honestly don’t think any punishment would impact us too much. At worse there may be a season where we’re unable to challenge for the league, but that will be a short term issue.
I think the club are forward thinking enough to have contingency plans in place for any eventuality.
I’m really not concerned with what they throw at us.

If they hit us heavily they know we will be asking for certain other (Premier League darlings) to be scrutinised just as closely. You can be sure City’s lawyers will have dossiers already to produce!

I am pretty certain that the premier league wish they hadn’t been so quick to try and demonise City.
I would love to see what happens when we are found not guilty

Re: 115 Charges
First thing i would plead is Double Jepordy as we have faced these before.
Secondly the illegal in this country of obtsining evidence by hacking and have that evidence thrown out.
Thirdly the fact about not cooperating i would argue the prem deliberately picked people associated with our rivals to inspect the books.
If not accepted i would get pep'l and the players to break down and cry in front of the panel.

I’d like to find out where the judges live and maybe send them a little present a horse’s head would be good

Re: 115 Charges
The only impact that would hurt City financially would be a transfer embargo or a points deduction so severe we wouldn't be able to get into Europe - say 30pts.
Relegation is pointless, as we'd break every record imaginable.
Fining us - well that's obviously pointless too.
Personally don't think we'll be found guilty of anything worth bothering about, but if we are, we deserve everything coming our way.

Re: 115 Charges
I too am of the opinion the premier league charged city in a knee jerk reaction to fight off the governments hearing of an independent ombudsman to oversee the managing of the league. (1)The charges were detailed to the media before contacting city. (2) the hearing was to be held the following week in a parliamentary sitting. (3) the rule numbers had changed over certain seasons but hadn't been amended in the charge sheets issued to city. (4) Rui Pinto who leaked and hacked original documents to der speigel is rotting in a Portuguese jail awaiting over 340 more charges to be bought against him. (5) The original books were passed by the EPL in the years they have now decided we've falsified (6) The charges that were time barred by cas still have no real weight as Cas judges stated in the finding that even if they had not been time barred there was insufficient evidence to make the charges stick.
The list goes on and on the more i read about it the more I'm convinced that a fine for non co operation will be the epl only recourse. I think they are now realising it was a big mistake to charge City.
A good watch on youtube is a programming titled the truth about the charges 33 mins long but well worth a watch.
