Re: Watford v City
I would agree with that line up but if Aguero is fit to play i would have him on the bench ready to replace Jesus if his PL famine in front of goal continues.

A good team, but do we want to rest anyone for Chelsea?

Re: Watford v City
Looks like Aguero has a muscle problem so probably wont be playing any part. Delph in for Zinchenko and possibly D. Silva and B, Silva playing some part and Walker back in.

Saw Zinky training in a mask? Not sure why he was in before Delphino on Saturday anyway?
Jesus needs a goal or I think Pep will be looking elsewhere soon.

Re: Watford v City
I think if Mendy were fit Pep would be using Delph to cover Ferna's position as he did at the end of matches earlier in the season. Delph has been pretty injury prone in the past so he will be rotated with Zinky when we are playing every 3 days or so. The thing for me is I'd rather he (Delph) start against Chelsea than Watford. If he does start tomorrow then I think Pep will swap him with Zinky in the 2nd half.

So he misses the Chelsea game. Cant say I'm too worried as the goals are coming from all over the park.

Where did you get that Andy? Nothing on the City or BBC web sites.

Vinny starts, makes sense - they’re a big, physical side. And Delph at LB thankfully.

Have to do it on a miserable night at Watford. Foster playing like Roy of the bloody Rovers here.

Feel for Gabby J. Some great touches, works so hard but it just ain’t happening for him. Hope he bags a couple in the 2nd half.

Watford pulling 10 men behind the ball every time City move forward, as expected, defending well and difficult to break down. Yet the clown of a commentator keeps making constant references after we score to the fact it took 40 minutes for us to score ffs!

Wow! Lost all composure at 2-1. Pep was doing his nut at all the missed chances, should never have been that close.

Nobody was putting their foot on the ball and passing it like we had been doing, they were suddenly just trying to hoof it away in blind panic

Not a great end to the game, but another 3 points, oh & Mahrez was quality.

Jesus had another mare, i feel for the lad but surely even Pep's patience is going to run out soon?

Re: Watford v City
If Aguero’s injured I expect Sterling to start up top at the weekend. Jesus just seems short of confidence, no doubting his talent but it’s such a huge game Saturday we need our form players on the pitch.

Re: Watford v City
Jesus just looks like he would be happier out wide left in Sane's spot...
Same for Brazil when Neymar is out there and he's forced to play through he middle. He is good with 2 up top , so alongside Aguero as we did a few times early last year, but gets a bit lost sometimes as he can't get the better of 2 centre halfs the same way Sergio can.
Good win though today, but at 2-nil we really started our sideways passing, and 1-touch ping it back instead of foot on the ball and turn-look-sort of thing. happens every time we seem to be saving ourselves for the next big one.
