change squad up
I know it’s not quite over yet this season but In the summer we need to shake up the squad.
I would offer Vinnie a 1 year extension, give Mendy one more season to improve his fitness/injury record or get rid.
We need a LB/WB & RB/WB we badly need to address the left back position even as serious cover for Mendy if he improves and we need somebody to give Walker serious competition to get his finger out.
We need to find a replacement (is it possible?) for Fernandinho and we need to sign an exciting young striker to blood into the side for when Sergio hangs it up in a couple of seasons.
We could look at some of the academy players but I’m not sure we have anyone that fits the bill in these positions and given our record so far in this regard we are more likely to buy players straight off the peg with experience. The PL is so competitive now it’s difficult to give young inexperienced players a run in the first team, the best they can hope for is a few games in the cups, I can see more of them following Sancho out the door unfortunately.

Re: change squad up
I would suggest de ligt of ajax comfortable at both centre back and right back. Really not convinced by Chilwell. a lot of people are but every performance I have seen, admittedly not a lot he really hasn't stood out. I understand for the home grown quota he is worth a punt, but in excess of 50 million ???? Dm should have been de jong, however that ship has sailed and by all accounts we were his 1st choice but for fears over ffp which makes me wonder how we stand in terms of transfers this summer. So that being the case Ndombele seems the obvious choice. Striker I would go for Dybala of Juventus.
