City v Cardiff
Must-win etc.
Man City: Ederson, Danilo, Stones, Laporte, Zinchenko, Fernandinho, De Bruyne, Sane, Mahrez, Jesus, Foden
Subs: Muric, Walker, Kompany, Sterling, Gündogan, Silva, Silva
First PL start for Foden, hope he has a blinder.

Could have sworn it was the side netting, had no idea it was a goal

Re: City v Cardiff
2-0 H-T the very least we deserve, could have been a lot more. If we play any higher up the pitch 2nd half Ederson might find himself in their half. Not sure I liked KDB bollocking Jesus much there though.

Re: City v Cardiff
Should have scored half a dozen. Jesus looks off the pace, but it was s good lay of for Sane's goal.
Let's get that goal difference up and stick one up Warnock

Yep, job done. Highlight of the game was their comedy 2 on 1 near the end. Could’ve smashed the GD out of sight these past 2 games with more clinical finishing.

Re: City v Cardiff
Coulda, woulda, shoulda. Didn't. Still, we are where we are, no point stressing, at least over the last 2 games we've pulled 2 more GD over the dippers, who've only really scratched past similar teams with lucky 2-1 wins. Jammy bastards.
On the radio, there was talk of the "unprecedented quad" and one of the commentators whose name I don't recall, but sounded like Robbie Savage (although I can't imagine him being on BBC Manchester) was talking about maybe playing a weakened side against Brighton, because it's less important than the CL. Sorry, what? I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Throw a game to a team who have relegation worries to contend with and a cup we have a fantastic chance of lifting because it means we might lose to Spurs on Tuesday in the CL? Did he not get that the CL is a two legged affair and even if Spurs did beat us, we had a home leg to overturn it? Bloody pundits...
