him signing means he believes he will take over Silva's spot next year, play more in his place this year.
I was sort of hoping Foden would get given that role...
he could be used more deeper, but with Rodri coming in I can't see that now.

If Gundogan takes the Silva role and Foden takes the Gundogan role/games then I'm happy.
