Leicester on fire last night, dippers with hopefully a tough game tomorrow, can't have a Wolves performance today. Nothing for granted as Villa on form at the moment. Clinical and professional performance needed.

This is nothing like the team of the last 2 seasons, can't put my finger on it but something is just missing. We miss a couple of easy chances and doubt sets in. I know we have injuries but we will not win the league if things don't change. I have this really niggling feeling Pep will go at the end of the season, even he doesn't seem to be as mad for it.

Hopefully just old school cityitis but it is there to see.

Was thinking much the same thing. Whatever happened, for instance, to those fabulous balls into the box Mendy delivered in his first season? Fern playing DM would offer us more dynamism, nothing against Gundo, he just lacks Fern’s energy. Still think we’ll win this and one goal might lead to 2 or 3 more.

I thought the same against Wolves please no Dejavu, thankfully they are not as counter attacking (famous last words)

Phew, Raheem to the rescue

Jesus just isn't Sergio no matter what Pep thinks. He should be burying that.

All we need now is a Mendy assist and order will be restored in the universe.

Cancello looks ok though, not as swash buckling as Walker but has done a lot right. Clean sheet will be good here today.

Happy enough with that, apart from Fern’s stupidity. Bit of a flat first half but I suppose there’s a tendency to expect too much these days.

Yeah, was fearing the worst at Half Time but end of the day was quite comfortable.  Defence only worried me a few times  Shocked

Spuddies get anything tomorrow and the dipper game is looking a massive leveler in the league.  Wouldn't have thought that after Wolves.

Silva’s been awarded the 2nd goal an hour after the final whistle. Expect VAR to step in and disallow it now!

When I spoke to a couple of Villa fans for my preview earlier this week, they were very optimistic about what they could achieve. 1-1 and 2-1 (to Villa) were their predictions.

Before the season started, many Villa fans were expecting them to finish mid table.

Those boys have a lot of faith in their team!
