Ederson doing a Bravo there. At least he didn’t bring him down.

Well that was bang average. Always think Rodri and Gundo in the same team robs us of pace and energy. Both fine players, just not together. Foden font for Gundo please.

Pretty underwhelming stuff, devoid of any real fluency. But that’s the group in the bag, so job done.

Sorry BR I was dipping in and out during the game, but I was at least reading your comments!
Hopefully be making more of a contribution in the near future.
As for the game, you’re right, a very disjointed performance but got the job done. And a very convenient one game suspension for Ferna at the end, almost like it was planned

Re: City v Shakhtar
I'm feeling a bit depressed about the team at the moment and i know its probably a bit fickle given how far we've come
We were not great against Liverpool then our performance against a young Chelsea team was very underwhelming even managing to surrender our usual high possession stats to them at home. Then we continued in similar fashion against Shaktar, a team we regularly thump in the CL, although to be fair they were a lot sharper and better organised this time around.
I think we need a good win and more importantly a good performance against Newcastle to regain some self confidence. We will see what Pep's management skills are like when dealing with this kind of scenario unlike just rolling over teams with silky football, our overall game seems to have deteriorated, the passing and movement has dropped off a couple of notches.

The worry is that many of the players don't seem to be able to lift themselves after two exhausting seasons.
