Aguero's hand
Anyone bothered by it?
I thought it was silly of him, could've got a yellow for it.
Social media has either said it's nowt or fallen off a cliff. There's some middle ground there somewhere.

As you said, it was silly....but it's been massively blown out of proportion. No yellow, move on.

Re: Aguero's hand
Exactly right, it was stupid but nothing more.
What a surprise that the biggest mouth blowing this out of proportion belongs to Piers ‘lifelong gooner’ Morgan!
He is so typical of the middle class tossers that latched onto football in the 90’s, but no doubt he’ll claim to have stood at the clock end watching Woolwich Arsenal in the 1930’s.
Hopefully someone has had a word with Sergio and it won’t be repeated, but it’s a shame that with all that’s going on in the world some people are so offended (allegedly) by this.

Thought he was good when he clapped the crowd coming off against the Arse.

what is wrong with people these days. offended by every little insignificant thing? Get a life and return to the real world. Since when has touching ones shoulder become such an outrageous action?

Re: Aguero's hand
I think it's the context, Oz. Laying a hand on an official is frowned on, so the fact he did it at all is on dodgy ground. And because the official in question is female, it could be seen as being condescending (or even a tad sexist). I must admit, I cringed a bit when I saw it, because you can bet anything you want Serge wouldn't have done that to any of the male officials.
It's not outrageous, granted, and it shouldn't need people to be foaming at the mouth over it. But what bothered me was that he touched an official in what appeared to be a patronising manner, which is wrong when you consider Sian Massey is about the best assistant ref in the PL right now.
